Aubrey L collected three hits in three at bats, as Genuwin Reign RM 11U defeated New Lenox Power 11U – Granata 11U 7-5 on Sunday. Aubrey singled in the sixth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the third inning.
New Lenox Power 11U – Granata 11U were the first to get on the board in the first when Gianna L grounded out, scoring two runs.
Megan M singled, which helped Genuwin Reign RM 11U tie the game at two in the top of the third.
A single by Gianna gave New Lenox Power 11U – Granata 11U the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third.
Gianna S singled, which helped Genuwin Reign RM 11U tie the game at three in the top of the fifth.
Genuwin Reign RM 11U made the score 7-3 in the top of the sixth after Aubrey singled, scoring two runs, Brianna P grounded out, scoring one run, and Quinn G singled, scoring one run.
Sky L earned the win for Genuwin Reign RM 11U. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and five runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out seven and walking four. Kloe S led things off in the circle for New Lenox Power 11U – Granata 11U. The righty allowed six hits and seven runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out five and walking six.
Megan and Aubrey each drove in two runs for Genuwin Reign RM 11U. Jordyn P led Genuwin Reign RM 11U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.
Gianna drove the middle of the lineup, leading New Lenox Power 11U – Granata 11U with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.
