Giuliana P collected three hits in three at bats, as Genuwin Reign Carpenter 12U defeated BRW Blast Sullivan 11U 8-4 on Sunday. Giuliana tripled in the fifth inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.
Addison K struck out 11 batters on the day. The righty also allowed six hits and four runs over seven innings while walking six.
Genuwin Reign Carpenter 12U got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Caylee C walked, and Callie M singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Genuwin Reign Carpenter 12U added one run in the third after Lilianna M singled to center field.
Brynley B opened the game for BRW Blast Sullivan 11U. The hurler gave up nine hits and eight runs (six earned) over six innings, striking out eight and walking four.
