Runs Hard To Come By In GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB Win Versus Bourbonnais Blast 14U By GameChanger Media
Both teams were strong in the circle on Sunday, but GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB defeated Bourbonnais Blast 14U 2-0. Mya S started the game for GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB and recorded 18 outs.
GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB got on the board in the top of the sixth inning after Norah K singled down the right field line, and Mya doubled to center field, each scoring one run. Mya stepped in the circle first for GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB. The righty gave up seven hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out four and walking none.
Chloe C started in the circle for Bourbonnais Blast 14U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out three and walking two.
Zoey S, Chesnee G, Norah, Jennah N, and Mya each collected one hit for GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB. Norah and Mya each drove in one run for GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB. GenuWIN Reign 13U-CB didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jennah had the most chances in the field with five.
Aubrey K and Kamryn S each collected two hits for Bourbonnais Blast 14U. Bourbonnais Blast 14U were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Chloe made the most plays with two.
