GenuWin Reign National 18U lost to New Lenox Lightning Gold 18U 7-2 on Sunday.

New Lenox Lightning Gold 18U were the first to get on the board in the first when Kaylea Armstrong (2027) hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

A ground out by Chloe Jacklin (2026) extended the New Lenox Lightning Gold 18U lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

Abby Laube stepped in the circle first for GenuWin Reign National 18U. The southpaw surrendered six hits and five runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Hayden Pfeifer (2027) started in the circle for New Lenox Lightning Gold 18U. The starter allowed eight hits and two runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking none.
